The “Mobdea License” is a special initiative launched by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to empower Emirati women entrepreneurs to turn their creative passions into successful economic ventures. This license allows Emirati women to engage in a wide range of business activities from home, contributing to enhancing the role of women in the economy and developing creative skills.
Target Audience:
The “Mobdea License” targets Emirati women, enabling them to engage in various economic activities without the need for a physical workplace.
License Requirements:
The “Mobdea License” does not require an office or physical workspace, allowing entrepreneurs to operate directly from home. There are no additional documents required to obtain the license.
Permitted Activities:
The license covers approximately 50 different business activities, including:
- Arabic calligraphy
- Painting
- E-commerce websites
- Legal translation services

Costs & Fees:
The basic cost of the “Mobdea License” is AED 860, which includes two activities chosen by the entrepreneur. If additional activities are desired, a fee of AED 100 is charged per extra activity.
