The “Tajer Abu Dhabi License” is an innovative initiative launched by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development in 2017, aimed at enabling entrepreneurs to establish their businesses with ease and convenience, without the need for a physical office for up to three years.
Target Audience:
- Emirati Citizens: They can establish a sole proprietorship or a fully owned Limited Liability Company (LLC).
- Residents: They can establish an LLC in partnership with an Emirati citizen.
- GCC Citizens: They can establish a sole proprietorship or a fully owned LLC.
License Duration:
The license is granted for three years without the need for a lease contract or a physical location during this period.
Permitted Activities:
The license covers over 1,200 business activities, including various fields such as consulting, logistics, design, and more.
Costs & Fees:
- Sole Proprietorship: Starts at AED 790, covering six activities chosen by the investor.
- Limited Liability Company (LLC): Costs between AED 5,200 and AED 6,000, depending on the selected activities.
- Additional Activities: Extra activities can be added for a fee of AED 100 per activity.
